ANN ARBOR -- If Ed Warinner weren't a football coach, he'd make a good school teacher.
Michigan's first-year offensive line coach went in depth with reporters on Wednesday about his methods for getting the most out of the players under his tutelage.
Warinner simplifies the complicated job of assessing the defense at the line of scrimmage, communicating responsibilities, and executing even if the initial assessment was incorrect.
He said, from a lineman's standpoint, there might be six things that could happen on each play. If he presents all those options to a player, he won't have the confidence to play fast enough.
