Michigan among three finalists for five-star point guard

And then there were three. D.J Carton, a five-star point guard in the 2019 class, has narrowed his list of college options to a trio of Big Ten schools: Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio State.

Carton made the announcement via Twitter on Sunday, writing, "Final 3!!" and posting a graphic of himself wearing a uniform combining all three teams.

The point guard out of Bettendorf (Iowa) High School is the second-ranked true point guard in his class and No. 24 player overall according the 247sports.com composite. He visited U-M in June.

Michigan has three point guards currently on the roster: returning starter Zavier Simpson, a rising junior, rising sophomore Eli Brooks, and incoming freshman David DeJulius.
