Michigan's hockey team is moving on to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Junior forward Cooper Marody scored with 4 minutes, 30 seconds remaining to give the Wolverines a 3-2 first-round victory over Northeastern on Saturday in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Michigan (21-14-3), a No. 2 seed, advances to face No. 4 seed Boston University -- a 3-1 winner over No. 1 seed Cornell -- in the Northeast Regional final at 4 p.m. Sunday.
