ANN ARBOR -- The University of Michigan and attorney for Shea Patterson remain in the dark with the NCAA regarding a timeline for a decision on the transfer quarterback's eligibility.
On Wednesday, Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel told reporters that he did not know where Patterson's appeal stood with the NCAA -- just that it had been filed.
"It's a process," Manuel said. "We continue to work on it as we need to, and monitor where it is. (Then) respond when we need to respond to additional conversations the NCAA has. Then we'll move it forward.
"Sometimes these things take longer than others.
