Channing Stribling produced this week for the Michigan alumni contingent in the new American Alliance of Football.
A corner for the Memphis Express, he racked up five tackles, three pass breakups and an interception in a 20-18 defeat to the visiting Arizona Hotshots.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder has jumped around the professional ranks. After notching 29 tackles and four picks (including returned for a touchdown) in 2016, he earned an undrafted free agent contract with the Cleveland Browns. Since then, he’s participated on practice squads for the Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Chargers.
