That’s what Michigan’s star second baseman earned as the best player in program history and arguably the nation’s best player this season.
So when she approached struggling pitcher Megan Betsa in the middle of today’s NCAA Super Regional opener, Betsa was glad for the reminder.
“We’ve talked all year about trust and trusting myself and trusting who’s behind me,” Betsa said after No. 2 Michigan held off No. 15 Missouri, 5-3, at U-M’s Alumni Field. “I don’t remember which inning it was but Romo came out there and she was like, ‘Hey.
