Michigan basketball's present looks good. Its future does too.
Two of the players coming to Ann Arbor next season are in the mix for Michigan's Mr. Basketball award while the other three are performing well out of state.
Detroit East English Village point guard David DeJulius had a 26-point triple-double earlier this week. Forward Ignas Brazdeikis (Orangeville Prep in Ontario) scored 40 points in a game Thursday and Adrien Nunez (St. Thomas More in Connecticut) is shooting the lights out -- their prep schools will face off Friday afternoon in Rhode Island.
Along with Brandon Johns and Colin Castleton, they make up Michigan's 2018 recruiting class, ranked 13th in the country by 247sports.
