The beginning of the Jim Harbaugh era started off on a sour note Thursday night as the Wolverines offensive mistakes hurt them in a 24-17 loss to the Utah Utes in Salt Lake City.
The Michigan defense played a solid game holding the Utes offense early, but the Michigan offense that came in with multiple question marks across the board ended the game with the same question marks.
Graduate transfer Jake Rudock was given the start, and struggled from the beginning. Rudock threw three interceptions, including a pick-6 midway through the fourth quarter while the Wolverines were only down a touchdown.
