If the person needed the money, maybe just ask Tom Brady for a loan?
A replica ring from the New England Patriots' win in Super Bowl LII was sold at auction over the weekend, for a record-breaking $344,927, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.
It was a replica version of the ring given to Brady, after the Patriots beat the Atlanta Falcons.
Players can authorize friends and family to purchase versions of their own Super Bowl rings. The value of this ring was assessed at under $30,000.
The identity of who sold it remains unknown, at least publicly.
