Michigan defensive line coach Greg Mattison has had a talented, deep defensive line like this before.
In 1995, as U-M's defensive coordinator, Mattison had Trent Zenkewicz, Will Carr and Jason Horn as veterans and younger players Glen Steele, Juaquin Feazell and Ben Huff.
Back then, the best players could remain on the field constantly, without spread offenses to wear them out. But in modern college football, Mattison plans to rotate up to eight players on the line, starting with Saturday's game against Hawaii (noon, ESPN).
The group is loaded with seniors -- Ryan Glasgow, Chris Wormley, Taco Charlton, Matt Godin, Maurice Hurst -- and also features young talent like Rashan Gary and Bryan Mone.
