Looking at Michigan football’s PFF leaders through six weeks

The Michigan Wolverines find themselves at a pivotal juncture, heading into the first of two bye weeks on the season after a tough 27-17 loss to Washington.

Sitting at 4-2 (2-1 in the Big Ten) and ranked No. 24 in the country, Michigan has plenty to address during this break, including struggles with their wide receiver corps, defensive lapses in the second half of games, and more. With quarterback inconsistency and key position battles remaining, the Wolverines have both reasons for optimism and concern.

As they prepare to face Illinois on the other side of the bye, it’s a good time to take Pro Football Focus (PFF) stock of who has been performing well and who needs improvement.
