Minnesota chips away at U-M lead

After Minnesota running back Shannon Brooks and quarterback Mitch Leidner broke free for 11- and 12-yard runs, respectively, the Michigan defense clamped down in the red zone yet again. Santoso hit his second field goal of the half -- a 30-yard attempt -- to cut the Michigan lead to 14-6 with 7:36 to go in the half.

U-M adds to lead

After Michigan's defense forced Minnesota to punt, Jabrill Peppers returned it 43 yards to give the offense good field position. Five plays later, Rudock found Jehu Chesson for a 13-yard touchdown pass.
