Wilton Speight's 33-yard laser to Jehu Chesson on third-and-4, two plays after Jake Butt dropped a sure touchdown pass, further increased Michigan's lead over Maryland. Kenny Allen's extra point made it 35-0 in the closing seconds of the half. Speight is 13-of-16 for 292 yards and two scores. Chesson has four catches for 104 yards and a score.
