Michigan’s win against USC didn’t come easy. It took all sixty minutes and all the energy they could muster in a 27-24 win over the Trojans.
After the game USC head coach Lincoln Riley reflected on what transpired Saturday afternoon at Michigan Stadium and divulged what he feels is the key reason USC lost.
“The thing that hurt us were big plays,” Riley said. “Every drive they had a score on I think they had an explosive play. We probably won 80-85% of the defensive snaps, but the ones we lost, we lost big.”
Riley’s correct in his analysis about the big plays.
