Lewis 100% certain on return for senior year

With the regular season completed, this is a time of year that talented underclassmen will sometimes weigh their decision to stay for another year or leave early to pursue a profession career. That’s not the case with Michigan junior cornerback Jourdan Lewis. In fact, he’s not even considering the option.

“I’m coming back,” Lewis said definitively following Tuesday’s Citrus Bowl practice. “It’s for my education. I haven’t graduated yet. … Football’s not going to last forever, but my education will. I thought that was the best move for me.”

Since the end of the season, Lewis has racked up a number of honors, being named a first-team All-American by the USA Today and Sports Illustrated, gathering second-team recognition from the Associated Press.
