But the Michigan basketball coach was certainly more excited to see his star Caris LeVert back on the floor.
As one of the 10 preseason All-Big Ten players, LeVert is expected to return to the do-everything form he had when his season ended prematurely last February.
It appears his broken foot healed just fine as LeVert scored 20 points in the first 26 minutes of Michigan’s 74-52 exhibition win over Le Moyne at Crisler Center.
LeVert showed a little of everything, finishing with 22 points, flushing an alley-oop, smoothly hitting four three-pointers and never hesitating to hit the glass.
