College football is a young man's game, but Lane Kiffin has gone a bit to the extreme.
Kiffin has hired 24-year-old Charlie Weis Jr. as his offensive coordinator at Florida Atlantic.
The son of the former Notre Dame head coach and longtime NFL assistant will be the youngest OC in football.
(Just don't ask him to get a rental car yet.)
"He's way ahead of his time in how he sees the game, his football IQ and just his overall intelligence," Kiffin told ESPN. "He's been around the game with his dad being a coach, a lot like I was when I was growing up, and has a bright future.
