ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Luke Martin's future home in professional hockey is about to be determined. The rugged University of Michigan defenseman wasn't eligible for the NHL Draft one year ago because he hadn't yet turned 18, but now his time has come.

Martin, a rising sophomore, will be in Chicago Friday (June 23) for the draft, and mock selections have him pegged as a likely second-round pick. Though, there has been some mention of him rising into the first round or dropping into the third round.
