ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Boy, he sure doesn't look formidable. Michigan freshman tailback Chris Evans wears glasses off the field for his farsightedness and contact lenses, which he "hates," during games. He sports a Will Smith high-top fade copied from a show he enjoys watching in re-runs, "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," and has worn it since sixth grade.

He's soft-spoken, unassuming, and doesn't look to be 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds in street clothes. Actually, he's more Clark Kent than "Fresh Prince" -- a mild-mannered student-athlete who turns into something super with a football in his hands.
