ROSEMONT, Ill. -- University of Michigan ice hockey junior forward Alex Kile was named Big Ten First Star of the Week today (Tuesday, Nov. 24). Kile led all Michigan scorers with three points (2G, A) in a split weekend at nationally ranked Boston University.
On Friday night (Nov. 20), Kile notched a goal and an assist, his first multiple-point game of the season, in Michigan's 3-2 loss. On Saturday night (Nov. 21), Kile added a power-play goal (an eventual game-winner) to cap off Michigan's three-goal first period en route to a 4-2 win in Boston.
