At Big Ten Media Days, Michigan linebacker Khaleke Hudson was asked how the Wolverines will replace Devin Bush and who will step up at inside backer.
“Josh Ross has stepped up magnificently. He’s looking good,” Hudson said. “Getting stronger, getting faster, getting smarter. He’s taking that role and running with it. I have no doubt in my mind that he’s gonna have a great season, I know he’s gonna have a great season, he’s a huge part of our defense this year.”
In 2018, Ross recorded 61 tackles (22 solo, 5 for loss) and 1 sack.
