Standing in at 6-5, 280 pounds, Barnhart is rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals, 247 Sports and ESPN. He selected Michigan over scholarship offers from Iowa, Michigan State, Nebraska, Arizona State, Boston College and others.
Barnhart is Michigan’s 10th pledge for the 2019 class and the fourth slated for the offensive line, joining Trente Jones, Jack Stewart and Nolan Rumler.
