Once heralded as the Michigan Wolverines’ next great running back, Kareem Walker has officially moved on.
The former 4-star running back has transferred to Fort Scott Community College in Kansas, as its head coach told reporters at the conference’s media day.
Walker had great potential to be the next star running back at Michigan. After redshirting his freshman season in 2016 due to academics, Walker was still far down the depth chart in 2017. Even with Ty Isaac’s injury, Walker was the third running back to come onto the field.
