Ann Arbor -- Michigan running back Karan Higdon was asked Monday if he would follow in Jim Harbaugh's footsteps and guarantee a victory over Ohio State.
“Yeah, I do," Higdon said. "That’s how I feel. I believe firmly in my brothers and this team and this coaching staff and as a captain, I’ll take that stand. Why not?"
Harbaugh, Michigan's head coach, guaranteed a victory over Ohio State during the week of the game in 1986 when he was the Wolverines' quarterback. That game was in Columbus, just like this year's game, and Harbaugh's Wolverines prevailed, 26-24.
