Ann Arbor — Michigan’s Zavier Simpson missed the first game of his career this week.
It appears there’s a chance the senior guard could be out for another.
Coach Juwan Howard said he’s “still evaluating” Simpson’s suspension due to a violation of an undisclosed team policy heading into Saturday’s matchup against No. 25 Rutgers at Madison Square Garden.
“Not sure what's going to happen for tomorrow,” Howard said Friday before the team’s practice.
When asked if the plan was for Simpson to travel with the team and then make a decision whether he’d play before the game, Howard said he and the team “haven’t decided.
