The Michigan Wolverines men’s basketball team will be remembered for what they were able to accomplish through adversity in the 2020-21 season, but the season ended abruptly with a thud in Tuesday night’s loss to UCLA in the Elite Eight.
Still, there is a vibe of gratefulness coming from the program in the hours after the loss.
Michigan won a regular season Big Ten championship and earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament in the second season with Juwan Howard at the helm. The Wolverines dealt with a COVID-related shut-down for three weeks they had nothing to do with and countless other hurdles throughout the year but stayed focused and fought throughout.
