When Oak Park 4-star offensive lineman Justin Rogers committed to Kentucky on Monday, his mother, Joya Townsel, was a little disappointed.
Not that her talented son was leaving the state — Rogers is the nation’s top offensive guard for 2020 and the top player in Michigan, per the 247Sports Composite — but to which state he was going.
“I liked Georgia,” Townsel said after Monday’s announcement at Oak Park High School. “I liked the (official) visit and I like the culture.
