ANN ARBOR -- Michigan sophomore forward Josh Norris was as shocked as anyone when he was traded for arguably the best defenseman in the world on Sept. 13.
Norris was a 2017 first-round pick of the San Jose Sharks and was one of their top prospects. He is now a prospect of the Ottawa Senators after he was involved in a blockbuster trade that sent all-star defenseman Erik Karlsson to the Sharks.
"I was a little starstruck," Norris said of being traded for Karlsson, who has the most points (518) among NHL defenseman since entering the league in 2009-10.
