Michigan began Big Ten play with a strong start. The Wolverines led 16-2, answered a couple of runs by Indiana in the second half and went on to win, 69-55, on Saturday at Crisler Center.
Jordan Poole led Michigan with 19 points and Moe Wagner added 13 points and seven rebounds.

Making a point
Freshman Eli Brooks keeps growing as the team's point guard. Brooks played 15 minutes in the first half. Senior Zavier Simpson saw five minutes of action in the first half, while graduate transfer Jaaron Simmons didn't play at all.
