Jordan Marshall is ready to embrace ‘his time’ as Michigan’s next RB1

Jordan Marshall has been waiting for his moment, and he seized it against Alabama in the ReliaQuest Bowl.

The true freshman running back spent most of the 2024 season on the injury report, but finally got healthy enough to play in the final few games. With Donovan Edwards and Kalel Mullings both opting to sit out of the bowl game in favor of NFL Draft prep, Marshall finally got his chance, and he didn’t disappoint.

Facing a stacked Alabama defense known for its physicality, Marshall delivered a breakout performance by rushing for 100 yards. Despite the Crimson Tide loading the box to shut down Michigan’s rushing attack, Marshall found ways to break through, showcasing his physical running style and flashes of explosiveness.
