WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Michigan had to find a spark from something.
And Saturday, John O'Korn provided the match.
Michigan's fifth-year senior quarterback came off the bench in relief of an injured Wilton Speight to go 18-for-26 for 270 yards and a touchdown, leading No. 8 Michigan to a 28-10 come-from-behind win over Purdue at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette.
The Wolverines will now enter their bye week at 4-0 (1-0 Big Ten). Michigan returns to action for a home game (time TBD) against Michigan State on Oct. 7.
Michigan's entire offense was forced into its backup plan late in the first quarter when Speight was knocked out of the game after a hit toward the back of his head and neck area.
