A golden era of Michigan basketball has come to an end.
Coach John Beilein agreed Monday morning to become the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, ending a 12-year run as the head coach of the Wolverines.
Beilein was the winningest coach in program history, leading the Wolverines to two national title appearances, two regular-season Big Ten titles, two conference tournament championships and five Sweet Sixteen appearances.
