Patrick Beilein appears to be following in his father's footsteps, but at a faster pace. The son of Michigan head coach John Beilein is reportedly in the mix for the head coaching vacancy at Siena College.
The younger Beilein just finished his third season at Le Moyne College. His dad coached at Le Moyne for nine years before making the jump to Division I. He left for Canisius, a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), the same league Siena calls home.
Might Patrick make a similar move in the very near future?
"There's a widespread perception Siena has already found its man," Mark Singelais wrote for The (Albany) Times-Union on Saturday.
