Bloomington, Ind. — It has been a learning process for Michigan sophomore quarterback J.J. McCarthy since he became the starter beginning with the second game of the season, but he is getting more comfortable each game.
McCarthy is 94-of-120 for 1,152 yards, nine touchdowns and one interception for the No. 5 Wolverines (6-0, 3-0 Big Ten), who are preparing to face unbeaten Penn State on Saturday in their return to Michigan Stadium after two straight road games.
