The Michigan Wolverines were loaded with talent this season, making it no surprise they are headed back to Indianapolis for the third straight year to potentially take home the Big Ten Championship.
Many knew the Wolverines’ success this season would largely be decided by their quarterback play and the run game. Michigan returned experience and explosiveness at both positions, and it paid off down the stretch.
Now, the stars at those positions for Michigan are being honored for their work this season. J.J. McCarthy has been awarded the Griese-Brees Big Ten Quarterback of the Year, while Blake Corum won the Ameche-Dayne Big Ten Running Back of the Year.
