Jim Harbaugh's best-case Michigan football scenario? Not playing Ohio State

Here is a simple solution that will fix the Michigan football program:

Jim Harbaugh moves back to the NFL, takes over the New York Jets and drafts Clemson's Trevor Lawrence with the No.1 pick. It would give him an exit and a young quarterback to mold.

Then, Iowa State coach Matt Campbell takes over at Michigan .

Problem solved.

Of course, I must admit there is a teensy-weensy problem with that idea.

The Jets still have a coach, although nobody expects Adam Gase to survive this season. And there is no guarantee Campbell, who will surely get calls from NFL franchises this offseason, would leave Iowa State for Michigan.
