Michigan football players Chase Winovich and Berkley Edwards were both injured and left the win over Indiana on Saturday and head coach Jim Harbaugh was quick to address both players’ statuses after the game.
Winovich, who is the heart and soul of Michigan’s defense, took a late hit from Indiana lineman Simon Stepaniak during the third quarter when he leapt onto him after the play was over.
Harbaugh said after the game that X-rays were taken at the stadium and that everything came back negative, as well as a CT scan at the hospital.
