Just last week it was announced that the NCAA would be banning schools from running satellite camps. Michigan football head coach Jim Harbaugh is of course one of satellite camps’ biggest proponents, but now he has to find other things to do in the offseason. So why not give an inspiring commencement speech at a high school?
On Monday afternoon, Jim Vail, president of Paramus Catholic high school in New Jersey announced that Harbaugh would be the school’s commencement speaker this upcoming June. Vail cited Harbaugh’s experience leading, educating, and helping the community as well as his athletic achievements as reasons for the speech.
