Jim Harbaugh may be the Los Angeles Chargers head coach now, but he’ll always be deeply connected to Michigan and never be that far away. In fact, Harbaugh will be making a trip to Ann Arbor at the end of August.
Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel said on the 1 Star Recruits Podcast that Harbaugh will be Michigan’s honorary captain for their season opener on Aug. 31 against Fresno State.
“He’s gonna be an honorary captain for our first game,” Manuel said. “I look forward to having him back in Ann Arbor here for that game.
