Jim Harbaugh responds to Braylon Edwards' criticism: 'Come after me'

ANN ARBOR -- Michigan's all-time leading receiver took to social media over the weekend with a critical, expletive-filled laced tweet hammering the football program.

Now Jim Harbaugh is firing back.

During his Monday-afternoon news conference following his team's 24-17 loss to Notre Dame, Harbaugh told reporters no one inside his program endorses the Saturday night post from Braylon Edwards.

In his since-deleted tweet, Edwards called starting center Cesar Ruiz and the offensive line "weak," quarterback Shea Patterson "scared" and Michigan's offense "predictable."

"Michigan football is sadly one thing.......Trash," Edwards wrote.

The Big Ten Network, where he is currently employed as an in-studio analyst, has since suspended Edwards indefinitely for violating its social media guidelines.
