ANN ARBOR -- Jim Harbaugh was a man of few words when it came to Dan Enos' departure.
"You know exactly what transpired," Harbaugh said Wednesday, during his signing day news conference at Schembechler Hall.
"He left, and went to Alabama."
The short-lived wide receivers coach, who joined Harbaugh's staff in mid-December after a three-year stint as offensive coordinator at Arkansas, left Michigan in January to reportedly become quarterbacks coach for Nick Saban.
Enos was due to make $150,000 in his first year at Michigan, with incremental raises of $50,000 per year after that. There was a clause in his contract that called for a pay bump to $750,000 a year if "coordinator" was added to his title.
