ANN ARBOR -- The NCAA over the summer eased up on restrictions when it came to football players and redshirts.
Now, college players are eligible to play in up to four games during a full season without losing it.
But how coaches intend to adapt to the new rule remains to be seen. For Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh, it doesn't change how he plans to handle first-year players.
"You do what's best for the individual player and the team," Harbaugh said this week on 97.1 The Ticket's "Jamie and Stoney" show. "You're never really thinking redshirt.
