Most speakers arrive at presentations with a stock speech used for different crowds.
Not Jim Harbaugh.
As the Michigan football coach reminded Thursday night when he was inducted into the Senior Bowl Hall of Fame in Mobile, Ala., there's always something unique and his competitiveness never dies.
After appreciating bowl organizer Phil Savage for being selected -- "I don’t know what you’re criteria is," Harbaugh said at the event, periscoped by Senior Bowl staffer Patrick Woo, "But thank you" -- he reflected on his week there 30 years ago.
"It was a feeling when you got invited the Senior Bowl, you knew it was the best all-star game," he said, wearing a gray suit and purple tie.
