Before Ed Warriner arrived at Michigan in January, he and Jim Harbaugh had never worked together.
In fact, Warinner worked at places Harbaugh would consider the enemy. Notre Dame. Michigan State. A long-tenured run with Urban Meyer at Ohio State.
Yet there he was, without a job last January after a one-year stint with P.J. Fleck at Minnesota. The two connected and a job offer came from it.
"The good thing about Ed is he's coached on teams that we play -- he's coached on all of the teams that we play," Harbaugh said last week at Big Ten media days.
