ANN ARBOR -- Jim Harbaugh is backing his players in the wake of an ongoing shoe investigation at Michigan.
While the school's compliance department continues to look into whether any active or previously active Michigan student-athletes sold their school-issued shoes, the football head coach told reporters on Monday he doesn't anticipate having to suspend anyone for the upcoming season.
Shoe marketplace "StockX" told ESPN on Friday that it has received school-exclusive shoes from Michigan, Marquette and California, in addition to the shoes from North Carolina that recently netted 13 suspensions on the Tar Heels' football team.
