Joe Milton has been the presumed favorite to start at quarterback for Michigan football.
And while Jim Harbaugh hesitated to name starters Monday afternoon, he indicated Milton is sitting pretty in the Wolverines' quarterback competition.
"Joe’s been running with the ones," Harbaugh said referring to the first-team offense.
Milton, a redshirt sophomore, is the most experienced quarterback on the roster. Coaches and teammates have praised Milton throughout the offseason as he has competed against redshirt freshman Cade McNamara in what is seen as a two-player race for the starting job.
