Former Michigan wide receiver Jehu Chesson is on to a new team after being drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs 10 days ago.
A fourth-round pick, he participated in the Chiefs’ minicamp over the weekend and impressed some with his skills, which led to questions about why his numbers dropped as a senior at Michigan: From 50 catches, 764 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior to 35 catches, 500 yards and two touchdowns as a senior.
Was the quarterback change to Wilton Speight a factor or something else?
“The past is behind me,” Chesson told them in a video posted on chiefs.
