ANN ARBOR -- Through the rise, fall and rise of Michigan basketball in the past decade, assistant coach Jeff Meyer has been the lone constant in the program, other than John Beilein.
Now, completing a staff overhaul that began last year, Meyer is leaving Beilein's bench.
Meyer is joining former Michigan assistant LaVall Jordan's staff at Butler, the school announced on Tuesday.
Butler spent the last nine years at U-M. He originally joined the staff as director of basketball operations after a stint at Indiana. He was promoted soon after to an assistant coaching position.
Meyer is entering his 39th year as a college head coach.
