Michigan has nabbed its first player of the 2019 class. Jalen Wilson, a four-star forward from Texas, announced Wednesday via Twitter his commitment to the Michigan men's basketball program.
"I will be attending the University of Michigan," Wilson said at the end of a more than two-minute video, which spoofs the "Uncle Drew" ads starring NBA star Kyrie Irving. "Go Blue," Wilson says at the end, revealing a Michigan t-shirt.
The 6-foot-8 forward is currently listed as the No. 34 recruit in the country by 247sports.com's composite rankings. He still has one year left at Guyer High School in Deton, Texas.
