Jake Rudock's at Michigan to be a facilitator, ease turnover woes and prove himself as a starting QB

ANN ARBOR -- If you're standing next to Jake Rudock and you're looking for flash, you'll probably want to look in a different direction.

The son of an attorney and an elementary school teacher, Rudock doesn't tweet or spend much time on social media. His former teammates quickly note his soft-spoken and humble attitude. And he really doesn't like talking about himself.

Rudock plays quarterback. The most important spot on the field for any football team. But when asked to describe his game, he opts against it.

He's known for the hours he spends poring over film cut-ups and play books, which can be completely complex.
